“Détache toi” in French (“Break away”), is the result of a virtual relationship between French pop star Matthieu Chedid , better know under his artist name -M- and electronic triphop duo with a dubby twist AM444. Chedid got a crush on vocalist Chacha’s voice and the soul colors of producer Jay Soul and decided to do a cover of their original song “ShenJingMoshao“. Re- titled “Détache toi” , the tune perfectly blends ChaCha and Matthieu’s voices and adds the chemistry of elaborate guitar chords to Jay Soul’s dubby tune.
