IAM gave a memorable show at YugongYishan on Wednesday evening, in front of a over excited , head nodding audience of French and Chinese fans. The show included two collaborations with local musicians Tulegur Gangzi and Nine Treasures – creating amazing moments where throat singing, horse head fiddle and sharp rap flow were just fusing together. The Hip Hop veterans took over the stage for 90 minutes of pure energy proving to their audience that Hip Hop is a rejuvenating sport which keeps its best practitioners forever young!
Détache toi EP Europe release
Since the collaboration with -M- , the Shanghai electro duo AM444 has been getting quite some traction in France. After a few gigs and a showcase held last week,at La Dame de Canton in Paris, the release of the MV of Détache toi, the eponymous EP will be officially released on iTunes next Monday (23rd),and Amazon. Naive New Beaters China Tour
Parisian Electro Rock trio, singing in English, but with a fantastic French accent, they play magical, well crafted Pop tunes that pack in the bass lines and simple hooks. They remind me of Metronomy, in that they seem to flourish in their humour, truly enjoying themselves and not taking things at all seriously, including those anti-fashion jumpers and comedy moustaches.
